About Me

I have trained extensively in psychodynamic and narrative therapy, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming approaches, and psychological assessment. Prior to starting my practice, I worked community clinics and schools in the East Bay. Most recently, I was a staff psychologist and supervisor at WestCoast Children’s Clinic in Oakland. These settings engendered in me a lifelong commitment to working thoughtfully across differences in class, racial/ethnic identity, gender, (dis)ability, and more.

My approach to therapy is further informed by my time as an activist and researcher with community-based organizations. For better or worse, social and systemic forces have far-reaching impacts on our psyches, and I am forever in awe of our ability to heal through connection and community. Like a tree in the forest, I aim to help clients tap into sources of healing in their own communities and ancestral lineages.

I graduated with a degree in Environmental Sciences from UC Berkeley, a Masters in youth development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a PsyD from the Wright Institute. I am licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY CA 34766).
